How Often Should You Get a Thai Massage?

If you're looking to reap the full benefits of a Thai massage, it's recommended that you get one two or three times a month. This is because tight muscles can cause chronic pain, from migraines to sciatica and more. Generally, weekly sessions are suggested, but it all depends on how you feel. If the pain returns within a few days, it's time to book another appointment.

If you don't feel any pain after a week, you may be able to extend the time between sessions. Most people find that they need more frequent massages initially, and then slowly decrease the frequency as their muscles become more relaxed. Your therapist may also suggest stretches that you can do at home to maintain muscle balance for longer periods of time. You may need a massage every day at first, but over time, you can try getting one two or three times a week.

At Thai Kosai in London, we look forward to helping you start your massage journey. From my experience with Thai massage, I found it to be very relaxing, but it didn't heal like Chinese style did.
